First Communion will be meeting weekly on Monday evenings from 6-7:15pm. First Reconciliation is a required part of the first Communion program. Parents won't be teaching any part of the curriculum at home, but we we are requiring that at least one parent attend every session.

RCIC

(ages 7-17)

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Children is a program for children between the ages of 7 and 17 who are unbaptized or were baptized in another faith tradition. This program presents the faith in an engaging way at a level accessible to them and prepares participants to receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, the Eucharist, and Confirmation).

Sessions meet once a month beginning October 3 on Sundays from 12-1:30pm. In addition to meeting once a month, children are required to attend the sacramental prep program appropriate for their age. For elementary age children this is the first Communion program. For jr high and high school children this is the youth Confirmation program.
