Adult Faith Formation

Adult Confirmation

Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8pm

Begining January 8, 2019. Confirmation, along with Baptism and the Eucharist, is a Sacrament of Initiation. The graces of Confirmation strengthen and guide us in taking on more mature responsibilities in the public life of the Church. The adult Confirmation program offers a review of the foundational teachings of the Catholic Church and the chance to grow in your faith through fellowship and prayer.

While the focus of this class is preparing for Confirmation, it is open to anyone who would like to join us for a refresher in their faith.

Please contact Mary Williams with any questions.

Morning Bible Study

Tuesdays, 10:30am - 12pm

James: Pearls for Wise Living by Jeff Cavins and Sarah Christmye.

James is one of the most practical books of the Bible. Like the book of Proverbs, it is a book of wisdom, a collection of teachings on issues faced by ordinary Christians in everyday life. These teachings speak loudly to all those who feel torn between the competing demands of this world and their faith. This study offers "pearls for wise living" by applying the wisdom of James to the present day. For anyone who has struggled to live a truly Christian life, James offers a wealth of practical solutions for handling and even sanctifying everyday circumstances.

Begins January 8, 2019. Cost of materials $25. Registration forms can be found here. Contact Mary Williams with any questions.

Women's Bible Study

Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:30am

Romans, Commentary by Scott Hahn and Mark Shea - presented by Fr. Patrick Winslow.

The Book of Romans is dense and potentially imposing, but with years of experience under his belt, St. Paul wrote it for two simple reasons: encouragement and guidance. This epistle is so packed with theological wisdom that it influenced Christian theology more than anything else Paul ever wrote. In a fascinating 400+ verse exegesis, Scott Hahn, Mark Shea, and Fr. Patrick Winslow spare no expense in breaking down the rich ideas for you.

Don’t let its length fool you—this is one of the most powerful explorations of grace and the Christian life ever written, and anyone can share in its riches with a good guide. Let Scott Hahn, Mark Shea, and Fr. Winslow be that guide for you as you peer into the depths of Paul’s heart, which beat so much for Christ that he inspired a whole Church!

Begins January 2, 2019. Cost of materials $50. Registration materials can be found here. Contact Mary Williams with questions

Evening Bible Study

Thursdays, 6:30-8:15pm

Ephesians: Discovering Your Inheritance with Jeff Cavins (Presenter) and Thomas Smith

Paul’s letter to the Ephesians reveals many remarkable gifts that we as Christians are given in the Church. This letter tells us about the nature of the Church—as a body, as a household, as a mystery, as a communion, as a bride, and as an army. It shows us the great inheritance that awaits us as sons and daughters, adopted fully into the family of God. It reveals how God’s great love for us can transform our daily lives—if we allow it. Ephesians will enrich your faith—and show you how to live it out. Discover what it means to be a son or daughter of God— an heir to all he has to give.

Begins March 28, 2019. Cost of materials: $20 (scholarships available as needed). Registration forms can be found here.
