Requesting Prayers, Including Mass Intentions:
We have various ways that we can offer prayers for you and your loved ones.
• Daily Mass Intention: Our daily Masses are held Tuesday - Friday and each daily Mass can be offered for someone. The intention could be for the repose of the soul of a loved one, the healing of someone who is ill, the blessing of a significant event like a birthday or anniversary, or a general blessing for the person. There is no charge for daily Mass intentions, but people often make a donation when they schedule a Mass to be said for someone. Any donations should be made out to Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish. When you schedule a daily Mass intention, you can also receive a card that you can send to your loved ones to let them know that they are being prayed for. To schedule a daily Mass intention, please contact Audrey Kozel at audrey@saintteresa.org. Please be advised that our daily Mass schedule is occasionally subject to some unexpected, last minute changes, which might mean that your intention may have to be moved to another day. If so, we will reach out to you to reschedule. Also, our Saturday Vigil Mass, our Sunday Masses, and Masses on major holy days are offered for the whole community and are not available for private intentions.
• Sunday Intercessions: We pray for those who are ill in our community and deceased loved ones in our intercessions at our Saturday Vigil and our Sunday Masses. (You might also hear the intercessions described as General Intercessions, Universal Prayer, Prayers of the Faithful, and Prayer of the Faithful.) To request that a loved one who is ill or that a deceased loved one be mentioned in the Saturday Vigil and Sunday intercessions, please email admin@saintteresa.org.
• Prayer Chain: We include prayer requests in our weekly digital Newsflash and we ask all readers of the newsflash to pray for these intentions. If you would like a prayer request to be included in our Newsflash, please email admin@saintteresa.org. Please indicate if you would like to keep the prayer request anonymous or if you would like your name attached. Please also note that we might edit the wording slightly for clarity or formatting for our Newsflash.
• Book of Intercessions: We have a Book of Intercessions in the back of the church, where you are welcome to write prayer requests. We pray for all the prayer requests in the book at our Saturday Vigil and Sunday Masses.
• November Prayers: November is a time when we remember our deceased loved ones in a special way in the Catholic Church. During the month of November, we encourage our parishioners to bring pictures of deceased loves to place at either of our shrines in the church. We also have a notebook at each shrine where parishioners can write the names of deceased loved ones. Throughout the month, we pray for all the loved ones whose pictures are displayed at the shrines and whose names are written in the books.
• The Shrines: You may light candles at our shrines year-round to pray for loved ones whenever the church is open for private prayer.
Please note: If you are asking for prayers for a loved one who is ill or going through a crisis, please make sure that you have their permission if you would like to have them be prayed for by name at Mass or in our Newsflash.

Floral arrangements for weddings and funerals may be left in our narthex from 9:30am to 3:00pm on Monday and 8:30am to 3:00pm Tuesday through Friday. For deliveries outside of those times, please call the Parish Office at 425-806-8096 to make arrangements.
